②Clasp-free / frameless denture

No metal clasps — held by flexible gum-coloured material.

③Suction full denture

For people with no teeth left.

02Suction full dentures

Suction dentures have edges shaped to fit closely to the gum to help hold them in place. Results vary with each person's mouth.

Hidden connectors join the denture to fixed crowns — no visible metal clasps.

04Wearing your denture

When you first get your denture

  • It feels strange and speech may be unclear at first — you'll adapt in 1–2 weeks
  • Start with soft food cut into small pieces
  • Rinse after every meal; take it out at night and keep it in water
  • Don't use hot water or scrub hard with toothpaste (it scratches)
  • If it rubs, don't grind it yourself — come in for an adjustment
  • Check-ups every 6–12 months
